Legends Log Terms

1. Acceptance of Terms

By making a contribution or signing up for a free listing through the Legends Log on type2labs.co, you ("Participant," "you," "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Your participation is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not participate.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the Legends Log.

3. Description of Offering

The Legends Log is a public supporter list for the Type 2 Labs moon rover mission. Participation is available in two forms:

Paid Contribution (one-time):

• A unique Legends Log number
• A tier rank based on contribution amount (Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Goated)
• Public listing with your display name or handle
• A Discord role corresponding to your tier

Recurring Subscription:

• All benefits of paid contribution
• Tier rank based on lifetime total contributions (sum of all payments)
• Exclusive "Light of Valinor" badge while subscription is active
• After 6 months of subscription, the badge is yours permanently
• Cancel anytime — your tier is retained based on total contributions to date

Anonymous Contribution:

• A unique Legends Log number
• A tier rank based on contribution amount
• Listed as "anon #XXXX" (no personal information displayed)
• No account required

Free Signup:

• Listed in the "Legends in Training" section (no Legends Log number)
• Common tier designation

Tier thresholds are determined by the Company and are subject to change for future contributions. Current tiers and their minimum contribution amounts are displayed on the Legends Log page.

Additional perks or recognition may be added in the future at the Company's sole discretion and may or may not apply to existing participants.

4. Nature of Transaction

Contributions are a purchase of digital recognition on a public supporter list, NOT an investment, security, or equity interest in Type 2 Labs, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). You have no ownership rights, profit-sharing rights, or financial interest in the Company or its projects. You will not receive any financial returns.

5. Legends Log Numbers and Reserved Numbers

Legends Log numbers are assigned sequentially to paid contributors. Certain numbers are reserved by the Company and may not be claimed through regular contribution. Reserved numbers are displayed on the Legends Log with a lock indicator.

One Person Per Slot: Each Legends Log number represents one person. Only one individual may be associated with a given slot. The Company reserves the right to remove listings or merge duplicate entries at its sole discretion if a slot is found to represent multiple people or if duplicate entries exist for the same person.

Legends Log numbers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, sold, or reassigned. The Company reserves the right to manage number assignment at its discretion.

6. Project Status and Disclaimers

Type 2 Labs is building a chat-controlled lunar rover. THE COMPANY MAKES NO GUARANTEES, WARRANTIES, OR REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT:

• Whether the project will be completed
• The timeline for project milestones
• The technical feasibility or success of the mission
• Any outcomes or results from the project

This is an experimental venture with significant technical risk. The project may be delayed, modified, or abandoned at any time for any reason.

7. Use of Funds

Contributions will be used at the Company's sole discretion to fund development, operations, and related activities. The Company has no obligation to use funds in any particular manner and retains full discretion over budget allocation.

8. Accounts and Display Information

• Participation requires signing in via a supported authentication provider (e.g., Twitch)
• Your display name, handle, and avatar may be shown publicly on the Legends Log
• The Company reserves the right to remove or modify display information that violates community standards or is otherwise objectionable
• The Company is not responsible for the accuracy of information pulled from third-party authentication providers

9. Refunds and Cancellations

All one-time contributions are final and non-refundable.

Recurring subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through Stripe. Upon cancellation, no further charges will be made. Your tier rank and Legends Log number are retained based on your lifetime total contributions. The "Light of Valinor" badge is displayed while your subscription is active; after 6 months of subscription, the badge is yours permanently.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

The Company's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your participation in the Legends Log shall not exceed the amount you paid.

THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

THE COMPANY PROVIDES THE LEGENDS LOG "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

12. Modification of Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to type2labs.co. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

13. Termination

The Company may remove your listing from the Legends Log at any time for violation of these Terms, with no refund. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms immediately cease.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Travis County, Texas under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Legends Log and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
